Identify the source of water before selecting a treatment
For a Thailand project involving wet walls or below-ground concrete, describe when water appears and whether it is associated with rain, a filled structure or a continuously wet adjacent area. Photographs taken during water entry are particularly useful. A coating enquiry should distinguish surface dampness from an active leak.
Local plugging and general waterproofing have different roles
Rapid-setting water-plug cement is intended for localised water entry in a suitable prepared opening. It is not a blanket treatment for a whole wall or a solution for a moving joint. Once local entry is addressed, assess the surrounding concrete and the need for a continuous compatible waterproofing layer.
