Waterproofing concrete admixture for new concrete mixes. Supplied by AAAgiler GmbH / DEDE Industrieausstattung in Germany, our integral admixture is added during concrete production to reduce water permeability and help protect reinforcement against chloride-related corrosion. We supply construction companies, concrete manufacturers and distributors worldwide.

Concrete waterproofing: key facts
Application: added to fresh concrete at the batching plant or on site.
Purpose: improve resistance to water and chloride ingress within the concrete matrix.
Indicative dosage: approximately 1 kg per 100 kg of cement, based on our published product guidance. This refers to cement content, not the total mass of concrete.
Project support: contact us for current technical information, product suitability and an export quotation.
How does the admixture work?
Our product information describes a chloride-free admixture based on complex alkaline earth silicates. It reacts with Portland cement to densify the cement matrix and reduce permeability. Unlike a coating applied to a hardened surface, an integral admixture is incorporated into the concrete mix.
Performance depends on the concrete mix, correct dosage, placement and curing. Joints, penetrations and cracks still require a project-specific waterproofing design. Read how the waterproofing admixture works.

Where can waterproofing concrete admixture be used?
Typical project enquiries include foundations and basements, tanks, tunnels, bridges and concrete structures exposed to moisture or chlorides. Suitability must be checked against the intended exposure, concrete specification and project requirements.

Admixture or surface treatment?
For new concrete, an integral admixture can be dosed into the mix. Existing concrete cannot be treated in the same way by adding an admixture after it has hardened. For existing structures, explore our surface protection coatings and salt damage treatment, then discuss the substrate and exposure with us.
Frequently asked questions
How much waterproofing admixture should I use?
Our published starting guidance is approximately 1 kg per 100 kg of cement. Confirm the current product data, cement content and mixing procedure before use. Do not calculate the dose from the total weight of aggregates, water and cement.
Can it be added at the batching plant or on site?
Both routes are described in our product information. The mixing sequence and mixing time must be agreed for the selected product and concrete mix. Ask us for project-specific technical information.
Does an admixture replace all other waterproofing measures?
No single additive replaces a complete waterproofing design. Concrete quality, curing, joints, penetrations and crack control all matter. The project designer should confirm whether additional sealing or protection is required.
Do you supply international projects and distributors?
Yes. We supply construction companies, concrete manufacturers and wholesale dealers internationally from Germany. Include your delivery country, quantity and application when requesting a quotation. Enquire about distribution.
