Plan concrete waterproofing before the mix is approved
For a US project using ready-mix concrete, start with the batch design rather than selecting an additive from the total concrete volume alone. Send cement content, planned concrete volume and the intended exposure. If your schedule uses pounds, cubic yards or square feet, state the units explicitly so that the quotation and technical review use the same basis.
